The YASED Energy Working Group meeting was held on 10 April 2026 in a hybrid format, hosted by Enerjisa Üretim. The meeting addressed recent developments, including the economic implications of trade disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz and energy supply security.
Volkan Yiğit, Managing Partner at APLUS Energy Consulting, and Kerim Gökşin Bavbek, Consulting Director, shared their assessments of the overall energy sector outlook at a time when geopolitical tensions have brought supply security into sharper focus.
The agenda also covered the macroeconomic outlook, foreign direct investment, and potential implications for Türkiye’s foreign trade and supply chains. Autonomous drone solutions for fault detection, performance analysis, and maintenance optimisation at solar power plants were also presented.
