Volkan Yiğit, Managing Partner at APLUS Energy Consulting and Audit Board Member of the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA), moderated a session at the Turkish Wind Energy Congress (TÜREK 2026), held in Ankara on 12–13 May 2026.
The session, titled “Market Design in the Storage Era: Energy Trading, Aggregation and Price Signals,” took place on 12 May at the Sheraton Ankara Hotel & Convention Center.
The discussion explored the role of storage-integrated wind power plants in energy markets, energy trading and aggregation models, price signals, storage regulations, cost structures, and revenue models. Representatives from the public and private sectors shared their perspectives on how energy storage investments are reshaping market dynamics.
