YEKA GES-2026: 900 MW Offered, 785 MW Contested

Map showing solar capacity awarded across nine provinces in the YEKA GES-2026 auctions.

We reviewed the YEKA GES-2026 results. A total of 900 MW was initially offered. Three sites were cancelled due to insufficient interest, and 785 MW of solar capacity was awarded across 11 auctions held on 3 November 2026.

Key findings:

  • All auctions cleared at the floor price of 3.25 euro cents per kWh.
  • Total contribution fees reached €31.6 million, excluding VAT, compared with €84.8 million for 650 MW in 2025.
  • The average contribution fee fell from €130,000 to €40,000 per MW.
  • The number of applications fell from 77 to 44.
  • Contribution fees ranged from €12,000 to €91,000 per MW across sites. Malatya-1 reached €91,000 per MW after 16 rounds, while Diyarbakır, the largest site at 200 MW, closed at €16,000 per MW after two rounds.

The purchase price held at the floor, and competition centred on how much bidders were willing to pay for each site. The report presents the results by site, how competition varied across sites, and a comparison with 2025.
